Our mission is to build a faithful Gospel witness for this generation and the next.
Two things are essential to understanding that mission. The first is to know how we understand the Gospel. The second is what it means to be a Gospel witness, or, put another way, what are the aspects of our witness as a church we believe are essential to being a faithful Gospel witness?
Succinctly, the Gospel is the announcement that God’s good rule has been restored to the world in Jesus the King. It includes the story of how this came about through His coming, life, teaching, death, resurrection, and ascension.
What is essential to being a faithful Gospel witness as a church? We call the answer to that question our missional priorities.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Gospel Formation
That we use corporate, relational, and personal practices which purposely form us into Christlikeness.
Gospel Culture
That we would be marked by patience, love, humility, forbearance, and an awareness that we are doing all of life before the face of God.
Gospel Mercy
That we become a community that embodies good news to the poor eagerly remembering the poor.
Gospel Outreach
That we would enthusiastically engage our community to bless with Gospel intentionality.
Gospel Unity
That we, as one part of God’s greater mission, would actively pursue unity with other Gospel-centered ministries.
